Yolanda Turner-Williams is the Founder and President of Down with the Pounds Medical Weight Loss and More, Inc. She has been running the business successfully for over 12 years. She has learned among other things how to weather the highs and lows of running a business. Her faith, perseverance and tenacity have been instrumental in her becoming the business woman she is today.

She will be the first to admit that she made several mistakes along the way. She had made her 1st million by her 2nd year in business. The business grew and grew and by 2010 she had 5 locations one of those was in Georgia. Going from starting a new business to opening 5 in under 2 years proved not to be a wise decision. She learned the hard way that you have to be present in your own business and not allow others to run it for you.

Dishonest employees, bad management and Yolanda living in the moment because of all her new found wealth started her downward spiral. By 2011 she had closed down 3 of the 5 offices and fought with all she had in her to turn her business around and make decisions based on what was best for the business and not what was best for her. Keeping her business open became her primary focus. That meant living frugally and making sure she negotiated the best prices for supplies and inventory.

She understood that by any means necessary sometimes meant you had to let everything go and start over. By 2013 she had managed to turn the business around and it has been growing every year since then and is a staple in the community still today. In 2017 she moved into her own building that she designed and had built.

Yolanda started the ETS Entrepreneur Institute to share her knowledge and help other entrepreneurs become successful by equipping them with the tools, knowledge and contacts they need to master their crafts.
